New photographs have emerged of Sophie Turner portraying Lara Croft in Amazon MGM Studios' forthcoming Tomb Raider television series. The 30-year-old actress, renowned for her role in Game of Thrones, was photographed filming on 10 March in the courtyard of the British Museum, London, alongside co-star Martin Bobb-Semple, who plays Zip, the protagonist's long-standing technical assistant and confidant.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is credited as the series' creator, writer, and executive producer. The production is scheduled for future release on Prime Video and includes a supporting cast of prominent performers from both television and film.
Turner heads an ensemble cast featuring Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Celia Imrie and Bill Paterson. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jenny Robins representing Wells Street Films, alongside Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg and Timothy I. Stevenson for Story Kitchen, and Michael Scheel for Legendary Television.
