TOMB RAIDER I-III REMASTERED CHALLENGE MODE TEASED IN NEW VIDEO

Tomb Raider developer Aspyr Media has released a short video showcasing Lara Croft in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, hinting that a challenge mode previously uncovered in a Steam development build may arrive in Thursday's scheduled patch. The video was shared on Aspyr Media's official page on the X platform.

Previously, a development build of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered was pushed to Steam, indicating the addition of several new achievements related to combat and exploration. Distributed across multiple branches, the updates suggested that a new challenge mode was being prepared for the classic Tomb Raider series.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is developed by Saber Interactive and Aspyr Media, based on the original Tomb Raider series created by Core Design. The collection includes all expansions and secret levels from the original titles. Players can switch between the original and enhanced graphics, and choose between classic and modern joystick control schemes. The remaster also features a photo mode, 3D item sprite replacements, and over 200 trophies. It makes use of the original source code and engine, preserving the structure and mechanics of the original games.
