SILVER TROPHY FOR TOMB RAIDER IV-VI REMASTERED IN PLAYSTATION AWARDS
[ 18 December 2025 ]
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered has won a Silver Trophy in the PlayStation Blog 2025 Game of the Year Awards in the category of Best Rerelease (Remaster). Gamers voted on the official PlayStation website and votes were cast globally. The Best Rerelease category recognises the creatives whose hard work and exceptional craft have made this year's gaming experiences so vibrant.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered features remastered visuals that bring new life to environments, characters, and artefacts, with the option to toggle between classic and modern graphics on the fly. The trio of video-games also includes a variety of game-play enhancements including the choice between modern controls, inspired by later entries in the series, or classic tank-style controls for a more authentic experience.
The remastered edition of the classic Tomb Raider series, originally developed by British studio Core Design, also introduced quality-of-life improvements such as boss health indicators and support for trophies and achievements.
