Camilla Luddington has thanked fans as she marks the end of her tenure as the voice of Lara Croft, while also acknowledging the casting of Alix Wilton Regan as her successor. In a public statement, the English actress reflected on her time with the Tomb Raider series and the significance of contributing to a role with a long-established history, describing the part as one passed between performers rather than defined by any single interpretation.

"Tomb Raider fans, I thought I'd make a post since I've been hearing from so many of you. I want to let you know that I have loved this fandom. To join the list of Lara Crofts before me was an incredible honor and she will forever be a part of me. The Survivor Trilogy was a decade of adventure I will never ever forget. I could not be prouder of what we created. And as always, a new actress receives this incredible gift to step into the boots. So with that said, Alix Wilton Regan, if you're ever in need of a bow, I know the exact spot to look for one at Croft Manor," Camilla Luddintgon posted on Instagram.

British actress Alix Wilton Regan will assume the role of Lara Croft across upcoming titles, including Tomb Raider Catalyst and Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis. With an established background in both performance and voice acting, including work on Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect 3, and Cyberpunk 2077, Wilton Regan brings considerable experience to the character.
