ALIX WILTON REGAN REACTS TO VOICE OF LARA CROFT CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT

British actress Alix Wilton Regan has shared a message with fans via her official Instagram account following the announcement of her casting as the voice of Lara Croft. Wilton Regan, whose previous work includes Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect 3, and Cyberpunk 2077, will portray the iconic adventurer in both Tomb Raider Catalyst and Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis.

"It has been the most incredible night tonight. Being revealed as Lara Croft is the absolute highlight of my career to date, and has surpassed even my wildest dreams. And whilst I still have my very cute Lara Croft plats in my hair from The Game Awards tonight, this Lara Croft just wanted to say, thank you. And get excited, because we're just getting started," says Alix Wilton Regan.

Wilton Regan's interpretation of Lara Croft is intended to reinforce the character's status as a cultural icon while presenting her as a contemporary protagonist shaped by nuance and emotional depth. With Legacy of Atlantis revisiting Lara's origins for a new generation, and Catalyst expanding the scope of the series with its most ambitious instalment to date, her performance is expected to provide narrative cohesion, renewed gravitas, and a measured evolution of the character within the Tomb Raider canon.
