THE FUTURE OF TOMB RAIDER WILL BE UNVEILED AT THE GAME AWARDS

Geoff Keighley has announced that the future of one of gaming's most iconic franchises will be unveiled at The Game Awards 2025. The event is scheduled for Thursday, 11 December 2025, at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT / 12:30 a.m. GMT and will be broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

"As just revealed in our The Game Awards Vote in Fortnite map portal, tune in Thursday night for a look at the future of one of gaming's most iconic franchises," Geoff Keighley announced on X, tagging the official Tomb Raider social media channel.

Crystal Dynamics, a subsidiary of the Embracer Group, is currently developing the next instalment in the Tomb Raider franchise, powered by Unreal Engine 5. Amazon Games will provide global publishing support for the highly anticipated title. The untitled game is set to deliver a single-player, narrative-driven experience, continuing the story of British adventurer Lara Croft.
