Remastered video games contribute significantly to the preservation of video game history. By updating classic titles with modern visuals, enhanced performance, and expanded platform compatibility, developers maintain the accessibility of important works for contemporary audiences. Such efforts support the continued study and appreciation of the medium's cultural and artistic development, as exemplified by franchises like Tomb Raider.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, and a combined collection featuring Tomb Raider I-VI Remastered are available now on all modern platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, SteamOS, and Windows.
