MARTIN BOBB-SEMPLE JOINS SOPHIE TURNER IN LIVE-ACTION TOMB RAIDER SERIES

English actor Martin Bobb-Semple will join Sophie Turner in Amazon MGM's live-action Tomb Raider series, according to a report by entertainment magazine Variety. Bobb-Semple has appeared in several television series, including Pandora, One of Us Is Lying, and All American: Homecoming. News of the casting was first reported on the official Variety website.

First announced in May 2024, the live-action Tomb Raider series is executive produced by Crystal Dynamics; Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Jenny Robins through Wells Street Productions; Dmitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson through Story Kitchen; Michael Scheel; and Legendary Television. Production on the show is scheduled to begin in January 2026.

Originally developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive in 1996, Tomb Raider introduced audiences to the British adventurer Lara Croft, establishing a franchise that has since expanded to encompass eleven mainline video games, numerous spin-off titles, film adaptations starring Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander, and an extensive range of merchandise.
