TOMB RAIDER THE LAST REVELATION MARKS TWENTY-SIX YEAR ANNIVERSARY

The sixth title marking a milestone in November is Tomb Raider The Last Revelation. Developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive in November 1999, the fourth video-game in the Tomb Raider series is celebrating twenty-six years since its release on Windows and PlayStation.

Set almost entirely in Egyptian locations, Tomb Raider The Last Revelation follows a plot rooted in ancient legend. According to Egyptian mythology, Horus, the son of light, once outwitted the malevolent god Set and imprisoned him within a secret tomb. Five thousand years later, Lara Croft discovers this long-lost burial site and, unwittingly, releases Set, thereby fulfilling the ancient prophecy foretelling his return and the ensuing descent of mankind into darkness. British adventurer Lara Croft's objective is clear from the outset, she must escape a terrifying destiny and rectify a situation that threatens to destroy humanity.
