TOMB RAIDER SOCIAL UPDATED TO MASTODON 4.5.1 AND 4.5.2
[ 21 November 2025 ]
Tomb Raider Social has been updated to Mastodon 4.5.2, supplementing the previous 4.5.1 update. These two significant releases address several bug fixes and performance improvements, including enhancements to keyboard shortcuts, quote handling, content warnings, and post visibility, as well as fixes for issues with emoji workers and status updates.
The 4.5.1 update focuses on resolving a variety of issues, including the fix for the Cmd/Ctrl + Enter shortcut, which was previously not submitting the alt text modal on some browsers. Additionally, posts from public and hashtag streams, which were incorrectly marked as unquotable, have now been corrected, as has the issue where previously undiscovered posts were treated as new when receiving updates.
The 4.5.2 update brings additional changes and fixes, particularly around content warnings and quoting functionality. A key adjustment is the removal of the education modal for private quotes when users quote their own posts. There have also been improvements in content warning handling, with missing fallback links in CW-only quote posts now fixed, and a bug that caused quoting to overwrite existing content warnings has been resolved.
Tomb Raider Social is built on Mastodon, a decentralised, open-source platform that lets users run independent servers with their own rules and communities. Designed for fans of the Tomb Raider series, it serves as a hub for discussion, creativity, and content sharing. Unlike conventional social media, Mastodon prioritises user autonomy, privacy, and community moderation, offering a chronological, ad-free experience without algorithmic interference.
