RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER MARKS TEN-YEAR ANNIVERSARY SINCE RELEASE

Today marks the tenth anniversary of the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider in North America. The second instalment in the Survivor Trilogy was released exclusively for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 10 November 2015. The game follows Lara Croft as she ventures into the remote and perilous wilderness of Siberia in search of the secret of immortality, racing against a clandestine organisation known as Trinity.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, Rise of the Tomb Raider was written by Rhianna Pratchett, with an original score composed by Bobby Tahouri. The title builds upon the foundations established by the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot, refining its narrative and gameplay structure. Camilla Luddington reprises her role as Lara Croft, delivering a performance that further explores the character's resilience and humanity.

To commemorate the occasion, a range of materials showcasing Rise of the Tomb Raider has been made available, including content produced as part of Tomb Raider 25, the celebration marking a quarter-century of Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider franchise.
