ICONIQ STUDIOS REVEALS PRODUCTION DETAILS FOR TOMB RAIDER THE CRYPT OF CHRONOS

Iconiq Studios has issued a new update for its forthcoming tabletop game, Tomb Raider The Crypt of Chronos, providing production details, timeline adjustments, and logistical reminders for backers. The company announced that the Pledge Manager will officially close on 31 December 2025, emphasising that orders must be finalised by that date to ensure delivery.

Responding to community feedback, Iconiq confirmed that the previously planned 'Component Upgrade' stretch goal box has been removed from the shipping plan. The large Boulder miniature, once requiring its own packaging, will now fit securely within the main game box, streamlining both storage and setup. The update also unveiled the design of the Classic Lara game board and shared progress on finalising the game's miniatures. Most figures have required only minor refinements, though the Gorgon miniature underwent a more substantial redesign to accommodate mass production without compromising detail.

Production is now scheduled for completion in February, with fulfilment expected to begin in early spring 2026. Iconiq Studios acknowledged a slight delay from earlier estimates but assured backers that the adjustments were necessary to maintain the desired quality. The update concluded with photographs from a recent fan event featuring Natalie Cook, the original Lara Croft model from 1996, posing alongside the game's prototype components.

Tomb Raider The Crypt of Chronos brings the high-stakes world of Tomb Raider to tabletops with a bold blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat. Players will guide Lara through the mysterious island of Kairos in search of a time-warping artefact, racing against the relentless corporate forces of Natla Tech.
