TOMB RAIDER SOCIAL UPDATED WITH MASTODON 4.4.7 AND 4.4.8 ENHANCEMENTS

Tomb Raider Social has been updated to Mastodon 4.4.7 and 4.4.8. The two incremental releases address several technical and security issues within the platform. Version 4.4.7 resolves multiple bugs, including a fault where the forwarder was called with a nil status when a quoted post was soft-deleted, errors affecting moderation warning e-mails containing posts, and a typographical error in the allow_referrer_origin parameter. Version 4.4.8 introduces a critical security fix to prevent a quote control bypass vulnerability. Together, these updates improve the overall stability and security of the Mastodon instance.

Tomb Raider Social is built on Mastodon, a decentralised and open-source social networking platform that enables users to create and manage independent servers, each with its own rules, themes, and communities. Developed specifically for enthusiasts of the Tomb Raider video game series, Tomb Raider Social functions as a dedicated hub for discussion, creativity, and the sharing of related content. Unlike conventional social media platforms, Mastodon places emphasis on user autonomy, privacy, and community-led moderation, providing a chronological, advertisement-free experience without algorithmic interference.
