Crystal Dynamics, the current developer behind the Tomb Raider series, has released a new preview image from the forthcoming second and final season of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft. The animated series features English-American actress Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft, alongside Earl Baylon and Allen Maldonado. The second season is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 11 December 2025.

The concluding season of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft follows the eponymous archaeologist as she investigates the mysteries of Orisha history, contends with the machinations of a wealthy and enigmatic antagonist determined to obtain the masks for personal gain, and uncovers the disquieting truths and formidable power concealed within the ancient relics.

The first season, released exclusively on Netflix in 2024, charted the British adventurer's return to Croft Manor following a series of overseas expeditions. There, Lara discovered that a Chinese artefact had been stolen from her ancestral home by a thief with a deeply personal connection. Her ensuing quest to recover the stolen relic took her across the globe, compelling her to confront both her past and the nature of the hero she aspired to become.
