TOMB RAIDER THE CRYPT OF CHRONOS PRODUCTION UPDATE FROM ICONIQ STUDIOS
[ 9 October 2025 ]
Iconiq Studios reports steady progress on the production of Tomb Raider The Crypt of Chronos. The team has been collaborating closely with the factory to thoroughly review all print files, a detailed process due to the extensive content within the core game and expansions, and also provides insight into the Advanced Enemies system.
All cards, boards, and tokens have now been finalised. Miniatures are undergoing final adjustments to ensure consistent quality, with initial samples expected within the next few weeks for review prior to mould creation. Inlay tray designs have been completed for the Dinosaur Enemies, Legendary Bosses, Croft Manor, and Component Upgrades, with work on the Core Game and Ultimate Croft Box trays now underway.
The update also provides insight into the Advanced Enemies system, developed in response to backer feedback. This optional feature, unlocked through stretch goals, introduces greater depth and variability to gameplay by assigning unique statistics, abilities, and patrol behaviours to each enemy type, enhancing challenge and replayability.
Tomb Raider The Crypt of Chronos brings the high-stakes world of Tomb Raider to tabletops with a bold blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat. Players will guide Lara through the mysterious island of Kairos in search of a time-warping artefact, racing against the relentless corporate forces of Natla Tech.
