LARA CROFT AND THE GUARDIAN OF LIGHT SCORES PATCH AND EXPANDS TO GAME PASS

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light has been updated to version 1.2.6 on Android and iOS, with the patch described as fixing a number of minor issues. Alongside the mobile update, the title is now available through Microsoft Game Pass on PC and Xbox, extending access to subscribers across both platforms.

Originally developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix Europe, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was the first entry in the Tomb Raider franchise to be released exclusively in digital format. Distinct from previous instalments, it employed an isometric perspective in place of the series' established third-person view.

The game blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and platforming with combat and a co-operative mode. Set in Central America, the narrative follows Lara as she navigates tombs, evades traps, and confronts foes drawn from Mayan mythology, including the god Xolotl and his army of undead warriors.
