A newly released video, shared by showrunner Tasha Huo on her official Instagram account, has prompted speculation that it may offer the first glimpse of Lara Croft in the forthcoming second season of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft. The short clip, accompanied by the hashtags Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Legend, was published earlier today.

The second season of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft is scheduled to return to Netflix soon, according to Tasha Huo. The narrative will follow Lara Croft as she delves into the mysteries of Orisha history, contends with the schemes of a wealthy and mysterious adversary intent on acquiring the masks for her own purposes, and uncovers the troubling secrets and extraordinary power concealed within the relics.

The first season, released exclusively on Netflix in 2024, depicted the British adventurer's return to Croft Manor after a series of expeditions abroad. Upon her arrival, Lara discovered that a Chinese artefact had been stolen from her ancestral home by a thief with a disquieting personal connection. Her pursuit of the missing object led her across the globe, compelling her to confront her own identity and determine the kind of hero she wished to become.
