TOMB RAIDER THE LEGEND OF LARA CROFT SEASON TWO UPDATE
[ 27 July 2025 ]
Tasha Huo, showrunner of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft, recently offered fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into her creative process via the official Act Two Instagram page. In a 'day in the life' video, Huo walked viewers through her meticulous approach to fine-tuning an episode from the show's second season.
"I'm into an episode of Tomb Raider now. I am watching an episode and I am spotting it for our sound effects guy. I'm going through and I'm saying, 'this is what this should sound like, this is what that should sound like, this temp sound is not right, it should sound more like this etc... in an episode of Tomb Raider' and then I'm going to watch the same episode again, but watch it for a different reason. I'm going to watch it to give notes on what the picture is like, 'this colour is off, can this movement be a little bit more like this, her mouth isn't quite doing the right shape,' things like that."
Season two of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft takes British aristocrat Lara Croft deeper into the mysteries of Orisha history, as she faces off against a dangerous billionaire seeking the relics for herself and uncovers dark, possibly divine powers hidden within the ancient masks. The first season is available to watch exclusively on Netflix.
