WETA WORKSHOP UNVEILS NEW LARA CROFT STATUES AT SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON

Weta Workshop has unveiled three new statues of British adventurer Lara Croft as she appeared in Tomb Raider The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles, and Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. The statues were revealed alongside Lara Croft: Quest for Avalon at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

Lara Croft: The Ruins of Revelation is a statue depicting the adventurer in a moment of intense peril and resolve, set amidst the ruins of ancient Egypt. Sculpted to convey a scene of imminent danger, the figure captures Lara mid-stride, framed by crumbling stone and atmospheric detail, evoking the tone of Tomb Raider The Last Revelation.

Lara Croft: A Deal at the Opera captures a cinematic moment from Tomb Raider Chronicles, reimagined in miniature form. Dramatic and dangerous, the piece portrays Lara mid-leap from a VIP box, jewel concealed and pursuit imminent. Dressed not for combat but for a high-society heist, the figure combines sweeping movement with poised confidence, evoking the elegance and tension of a classic espionage sequence.

Lara Croft: The Sanctuary of Flame is a dynamic statue paying tribute to Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. Captured mid-sprint above bubbling lava, Lara is depicted in a moment of intense motion and precision, every movement driven by urgency and survival. The piece conveys action, atmosphere, and physical intent, frozen in time to reflect the darker tone and high-stakes tension of the game.
