WETA SHOWCASES 3D PRINTS OF UPCOMING LARA CROFT MINIATURES

Weta Workshop has released an image showcasing early 3D prints of forthcoming figurines based on Lara Croft, inspired by Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. Weta Workshop is a design, production, and collectible manufacturing studio renowned for creating high-quality character models based on film, television, and video games.

"These early 3D prints of our upcoming Tomb Raider miniature statues are used to test volume, pose, and presence in the real world. From here, our artists refine the digital model, preparing it for high-definition printing, molding, and casting," Weta Workshop posted on social media platform X.

Weta Workshop has previously collaborated with Crystal Dynamics to produce a 1:4 scale limited-edition statue of Lara Croft, titled Lara Croft: The Quest for Avalon, as well as The Lost Valley and Lara Croft: Queen of the Jungle statues.

Customers are invited to register their interest via the official Weta Workshop website. The prototype image is shown below; the final version remains subject to change.
