EMBRACER GROUP PUBLISHES 2024/25 ANNUAL REPORT
[ 19 June 2025 ]
Embracer Group has published its Annual Report for the financial year 2024/25. Embracer Group is a global conglomerate in PC, console, and mobile gaming, with over 450 franchises. Headquartered in Karlstad, Sweden, it operates through groups such as THQ Nordic and Crystal Dynamics - Eidos. The Group includes 73 studios and employs over 7,000 people across 30 countries.
The company announced another transformative year, shaped by strategic initiatives focused on strengthening the business and unlocking long-term value. For the full year, excluding the contribution from the divested assets, Embracer Group reached net sales of SEK 19 billion, Adjusted EBIT of around SEK 2.4 billion and a free cash flow of SEK 1.4 billion.
"During the year, Embracer Group made significant progress in its transformation into three distinct, publicly listed companies. A key milestone in this process was the successful spin-off of Asmodee, which has been trading independently on Nasdaq Stockholm since February," says Embracer Group Co-founder and CEO Lars Wingefors.
"Throughout the year, Embracer focused on optimizing its asset base and strengthening the foundation for long-term value creation. The Group is now in a considerably stronger and more robust financial position, supported by disciplined capital allocation, lower capex, and improved cash flow. Work continues across the organization to further enhance operational efficiency and position the Group for sustainable, long-term growth."
"The year also saw creative and commercial highlights. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, released in early February, exceeded expectations in terms of early reception and performance, enhancing the value of Embracer’s IP portfolio."
Highlights relating to Tomb Raider include the announcement that, on 14 May 2024, Embracer Group, through its wholly owned subsidiary Crystal Dynamics, entered into a partnership with Amazon MGM Studios to develop additional stories for the acclaimed Tomb Raider franchise in both streaming and film.
