TOMB RAIDER IV-VI REMASTERED PHYSICAL EDITIONS PRE-ORDER NOW LIVE
[ 13 May 2025 ]
Limited Run Games has opened pre-orders for both the Standard and Collector's Editions of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, a compilation that brings together remastered versions of Tomb Raider The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles, and Tomb Raider The Angel of Darkness. The physical releases are now available for pre-order exclusively via the Limited Run Games website from 13 May to 15 June.
The Standard Edition includes a physical copy of the game presented in a traditional case, providing collectors and fans with a tangible version of the remastered trilogy.
The more elaborate Collector's Edition is aimed at dedicated fans and collectors of gaming memorabilia. It includes a custom-designed trapezoid box reminiscent of the series' classic packaging, a set of Obscura Painting lithographs, a curated soundtrack selection, two enamel pins featuring the Amulet of Horus and the Iris, and a metal keyring modelled after Lara Croft's iconic dual pistols.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered was initially released digitally in February 2025. This remastered collection offers enhanced visuals with improvements to environments, character models, and in-game artefacts, while remaining faithful to the original versions. Players have the option to toggle between modern and classic graphics, allowing for a customised visual experience. Additional refinements include updated control schemes -- offering both the original tank-style movement and a more modern alternative -- as well as quality-of-life features such as boss health indicators and support for trophies and achievements.
The remastered trilogy serves both as a celebration of Lara Croft's late-90s and early-2000s adventures and as a preservation effort that respects the legacy of the original titles while making them more accessible to a contemporary audience.
