TOMB RAIDER ANIME SERIES TWO 'DEEP INTO POST-PRODUCTON'

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft 'has a season one already' and series two is 'already deep into post-production', according to editor David Howe. He shared the update on social media platform Bluesky, in response to unconfirmed reports of the demise of Amazon's planned live-action Tomb Raider series.

"This is a friendly reminder that the animated Tomb Raider series I am currently working on has a season one already out on Netflix and season two is already deep into post production ok byeeee," David Howe posted on Bluesky, in response to the reported yet unconfirmed news that the live-action Tomb Raider series being produced by Amazon MGM Studios was 'dead'.

Season one of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft sees British adventurer Lara Croft return home from her solo adventures abroad to find that a dangerous and powerful Chinese artefact has been stolen from Croft Manor by a thief with an uncanny personal connection.

Season two will follow Lara as she delves deeper into the hidden secrets of Orisha history, dodges the machinations of a dangerous and enigmatic billionaire who wants the masks for herself, and discovers that these relics contain dark secrets and a power that defies logic - a power that may, in fact, be divine.
