TOMB RAIDER PROJECT LISTED IN PRODUCTION WEEKLY

Tomb Raider has been listed in Production Weekly #1444, published today, which could mean that filming for Amazon's upcoming live-action TV series may begin soon. Production Weekly has been 'providing professionals working in the film and television industries with the most comprehensive production resource available.'

Crystal Dynamics announced in May of 2024 that Lara Croft is coming to Amazon Prime Video in a new Tomb Raider live-action series. Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke told entertainment paper Variety in October of 2024 that Tomb Raider is in production and Phoebe Waller-Bridge is 'working in close partnership with Tomb Raider General Manager Dallas Dickinson and the game producers.'

Sophie Turner is listed as playing Lara Croft in an upcoming untitled Tomb Raider project on IMDb. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is attached as writer and executive producer and Dmitri M. Johnson, Amanda Greenblatt, and Ryan Andolina are attached as producers, according to the Film and Television Industry Alliance.
