LARA CROFT AND KURTIS TRENT'S CURATED BEATS ON SPOTIFY

To celebrate the upcoming release of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, Crystal Dynamics has launched two new Spotify playlists inspired by iconic characters from the video game series. Lara Croft's Curated Beats for Raiding Tombs and Kurtis Trent's Curated Beats for Demon Hunting were introduced on the official Tomb Raider blog.

The first playlist draws on Lara Croft's musical tastes, as described in her official biography, which mixes classical music, U2, Nine Inch Nails, and trance. The playlist features tracks from the noughties, reflecting the era of Lara's adventures and musical influences, spanning genres from Big Beat to Trance and highlighting iconic British bands.

The second playlist is inspired by Kurtis Trent, combining his tough, rebellious persona with his spiritual Lux Veritatis heritage. Drawing on his love for hard rock, metal, and experimental sounds, the playlist showcases tracks that embody his biker side and deeper, ethereal qualities. His musical tastes, which include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Metallica, and Rammstein, are reflected in this diverse mix. Both playlists celebrate the rich history of these characters and offer fans a unique musical experience tied to the Tomb Raider universe.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, developed by Saber Interactive and Aspyr Media, will release in February 2025. The classic series returns with remastered visuals that breathe new life into environments, characters, and artefacts. Players can toggle between classic and modern graphics on the fly. Photo mode returns, complete with a selection of iconic poses from Tomb Raider I-III Remastered.
