TOMB RAIDER SERIES TO BEGIN SHOOTING IN FEB 2025

The Film and Television Industry Alliance has listed an 'untitled Tomb Raider project' under development by Amazon MGM, with filming scheduled for February 2025. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is attached as the writer, and Dmitri M. Johnson, Amanda Greenblatt, and Ryan Andolina are attached as producers.
According to the project summary: "The untitled Tomb Raider project is based on the iconic video-game franchise, which follows the adventures of archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft. The series was first reported as being in development at MGM Amazon Prime in January 2023, but was delayed by the pandemic and due to other factors."
In May of this year, Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics announced that Lara Croft is coming to Amazon Prime Video in a new Tomb Raider live-action series. The series is based on the video-game series of the same name.
