SOPHIE TURNER REPORTEDLY IN TALKS TO PLAY LARA CROFT

British actress Sophie Turner is reportedly in talks to star as Lara Croft in Amazon MGM Studio's upcoming live-action Tomb Raider series, according to a new report by Deadline. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is attached as Writer and Executive Producer, alongside dj2 Entertainment, Wells Street Productions, Legendary Television and Crystal Dynamics.

Crystal Dynamics previously announced that Lara Croft is coming to Amazon Prime Video in a new Tomb Raider live-action series. Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke told Variety in October that Tomb Raider is in production and Phoebe Waller-Bridge is 'working in close partnership with Tomb Raider General Manager Dallas Dickinson and the game producers.'

Amazon is also publishing a new Tomb Raider title being developed by Crystal Dynamics. The as-yet-untitled new Tomb Raider video-game is a single-player, narrative-driven adventure that continues Lara Croft's story in the Tomb Raider series.
