As part of our ongoing efforts to archive all things Tomb Raider, a second four-page Tomb Raider showcase published in the official Sega Saturn magazine in August of 1996 has been archived on our website. 'Bikini Girls with Machine Guns' examines Tomb Raider as revealed by Core Design at ECTS at looks at the levels set to challenge British adventurer Lara Croft.
Critically acclaimed as one of the most innovative and influential games of its genre, Tomb Raider follows the adventures of British archaeologist Lara Croft as she searches for the legendary Atlantean Scion. The Lara Croft-helmed adventure video-game, developed by British studio Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive in October of 1996, recently celebrated its 28th anniversary.
