The Tomb Raider Next Generation rumor mill has shifted into overdrive following recent suggestions that Core Designs sixth Tomb Raider episode will begin with a destitute Lara Croft rescued from the gutter after a heavy drugs and alcohol binge by an evil organization and put to work for thus said organization.

Details at this point remain sketchy, but our reliable sources say that Core Design will depart from its traditional Tomb Raider traits and aim for a more Femme Fatale - Metal Gear Solid approach to game play.
