Croft Tomb Raider is set to leave an indelible
mark at this years MTV music awards ceremony as
Irish rock group U2 and Missy Elliot go head to
head for the coveted music award.
U2, whose
Elevation music video depicts a battle of the
bands as Bono helms a rescue attempt to capture
fellow band member the Edge from his evil twin
counterpart, have been nominated for "Best Group
Video", "Best Video from a Movie", "Best Special
Effects Video" and "Best Editing of a Music Video."
Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot's baseline track "Get
Ur Freak On" leaps into the awards challenge with
nominations for "Best Video of the Year", "Best
Female Video", "Best Hip Hop Video", "Best Editing
Video" and "Best Cinematography in a Video."

Tomb Raider soundtrack, sporting the industries
top recording artists, has stormed the album charts
across the world and supports Paramount Pictures
Lara Croft: Tomb Raider motion picture which has
collected over $200m in ticket sales revenue since
its silver screen inception June 15th. Oscar-winner
