TOMB RAIDER ANIMATED SERIES RE\VISIONED RETROSPECTIVE

The upcoming Tomb Raider anime from Netflix is not the first animated series to feature Lara Croft. Re\Visioned, produced by GameTap for Turner Broadcasting System, aired in May of 2007 and paid homage to one of the game industry's top franchises of all time, Tomb Raider.
Re\Visioned was pitched as an all-new animated series exploring and re-imagining well known video game franchises. The first season featured interpretations of video gaming's leading lady, Lara Croft, by well-known animators, comic book artists and writers. Re\Visioned was used to help amplify the release of Tomb Raider Anniversary and became a critical success for Turner Broadcasting System.
Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics released a number of assets showcasing Re\Visioned as part of Tomb Raider 25, a celebration of 25 years of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider, and these can be viewed in our Tomb Raider films, shorts and animations section.
