The promotional campaign for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered began in earnest yesterday and we have a roundup of the latest news updates and assets that were released from all of the major platforms and official studios.
The official Playstation blog dropped a veritable treasure trove of information on Tomb Raider I-III Remastered in an interview with Chris Bashaar, Director of Product, Aspyr Media. Key takeaways include photo mode, 3D item sprite replacements, over 200 trophies and the use of the original source code and engine.
The social media accounts of Xbox, Playstation, Aspyr Media and Crystal Dynamics worked in unison to showcase the newly overhauled outfits adventurer Lara Croft will be wearing in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered. Crystal Dynamics also released shiny new key artwork showcasing Lara Croft from all three adventures.
A new build of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered was pushed to Steam and the classic Tomb Raider series is now Steam Deck Verified. Sony also released a series of animated gifs showcasing the differences between original and enhanced graphics and we produced a shiny new wallpaper in glorious 4K.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is being developed by Aspyr Media and comes with all expansions and secret levels. Players will be able to toggle between original and enhanced graphics and switch between classic and modern joystick control schemes. The classic Tomb Raider series will be released on 14th of February, 2024, and is available now to pre-order on all major platforms.
