AMAZON GAMES TO ATTEND SUMMER GAME FEST 2023

Amazon Games have announced their participation in Summer Game Fest 2023 alongside Epic Games and Netflix. All three companies are currently working on Tomb Raider projects, however no information on what will be showcased has been revealed. The event, hosted by Geoff Keighley, will stream live on Thursday 8 June, 2023.

"SummerGameFest season is almost here. The video game industry comes together to show you what's next. Look for updates from 40+ partners. Public tickets for our live showcase event at @youtubetheater on June 8 are now on sale." Summer Game Fest announced on Twitter.

Embracer Group and Amazon Games have reached an agreement under which Crystal Dynamics will develop a new multiplatform Tomb Raider title, with Amazon Games providing full support and publishing the game globally. The as-yet-untitled new Tomb Raider game is a single-player, narrative-driven adventure that continues Lara Croft's story in the Tomb Raider series.

The Tomb Raider Anime series is being produced by Netflix, Legendary, Tasha Huo and Dmitri M. Johnson's dj2 Entertainment. The show is written by Tasha Huo and is set after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
