EMBRACER GROUP PUBLISHES Q1 2022 INTERIM REPORT

Embracer Group has published the interim report for the first quarter, the period April-June 2022. A "presentation in connection with the publication will be held in English by CEO Lars Wingefors and CFO and Deputy CEO Johan Ekstrom" on the official Embracer Group YouTube channel at 09:00 CET.

On the subject of studio acquisitions, Embracer Group said: "During the quarter, we were happy to welcome the development studios Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix Montréal to the Group, together with 1,100 talented employees and an exciting catalog of IPs including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, Legacy of Kain, Championship Manager and more than 50 back-catalog games. The transaction is expected to close soon and is an important contribution to our PC/Console Games segment."

The transaction, brokered with Square Enix Holdings Ltd, is subject to various regulatory and other external approvals and is expected to close during the second quarter of Embracer's financial year 22/23 (July-September 2022).
