Embracer Group has given a live-stream presentation on their acquisition of Eidos, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix Montreal. Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors hosted a webcast with Phil Rogers, CEO Square Enix America and Europe, Scot Amos, Studio Head Crystal Dynamics, David Anfossi, Studio Head Eidos Montreal and Patrick Naud, Studio Head Square Enix Montreal. Embracer Group today entered into an agreement to acquire Eidos, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix Montreal and a catalogue of IPs including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, Legacy of Kain and more than 50 back-catalogue games from Square Enix Holdings Ltd. Embracer Group, owners of Borderlands creator Gearbox Software, previously acquired Dark Horse Media, publishers of the Tomb Raider comic book series starring Lara Croft.
