Crystal Dynamics has released a video showcasing conceptual artwork from Tomb Raider Ascension including an early music pass from composer Aleksandar Dimitrijevic. Tomb Raider Ascension was shaping up to become a survival horror game with supernatural elements before being abandoned by the studio. The title was used as inspiration for the Tomb Raider reboot.
The Tomb Raider Ascension early concepts video has been produced as part of Tomb Raider 25, a celebration of 25 years of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics has released a steady stream of assets each month to coincide with their retrospective look at Tomb Raider past and present.
