NEW TOMB RAIDER FILM TENTATIVELY TITLED 'OBSIDIAN'

The next Tomb Raider motion picture has been tentatively titled Tomb Raider: Obsidian, according to a tweet by storyteller Misha Green who has written a first draft of the screenplay. "Still a long journey to production. Title's not even approved. But first draft finished" Misha Green tweeted on 14 May 2021.
Misha Green, executive producer of supernatural series Lovecraft Country on HBO, has been hired by MGM to write and direct the rebooted Tomb Raider motion picture sequel with Alicia Vikander onboard to reprise her role as Lara Croft.
