DOMINIC WEST JOINS TOMB RAIDER
MOTION PICTURE CAST

Dominic West (300, The Wire, Star
Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace) will play Lord
Richard Croft, Lara Croft's father, in MGM and Warner
Bros. Tomb Raider motion picture, reports Hollywood
Reporter. The role was previously played by Jon
Voight in Lara Croft Tomb Raider. Into the Badlands
star Daniel Wu and Walton Goggins are also attached.
MGM and Warner Bros acquired the
rights from GK Films which had previously purchased
the film rights in 2011 from Square Enix Ltd. Graham
King is serving as producer with Norwegian film director
Roar Uthaug at the helm. Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina,
The Danish Girl) will play Lara Croft.
