Crystal Dynamics have announced Bobby Tahouri will be composing the official soundtrack for Rise of the Tomb Raider. The LA-born composer has previously scored music for Game of Thrones, Despicable Me 2 and Hitman. A preview for Rise of the Tomb Raider can be listened to via SoundCloud.

"It's been an honor working on such a storied franchise," Tahouri said. "Lara is someone who embodies an indomitable spirit, and crafting music to accompany her on her journey has been a fantastic experience."

"Music is incredibly important in video games to help create the right atmosphere, mood and tone, and this is especially true for Rise of the Tomb Raider, which is set to be Lara's biggest and boldest adventure yet," said Rich Briggs, brand director at Crystal Dynamics. "We love the sound Bobby brings to the game, and we're excited for fans to join Lara in this adventure when the game launches on November 10."

The announcement was made by Xbox Wire and includes a preview of music from Rise of the Tomb Raider.
