Enix have released a collection
of screenshots showcasing Tomb Raider at E3
2011. The images depict Lara Croft abandoned and
afraid on an island as she begins her gritty adventure
of self discovery. Tomb Raider is scheduled for
release Fall 2012.
Tomb
Raider is being developed by Redwood City based
studio Crystal Dynamics and tells the story of
a young and inexperienced Lara Croft who finds
out just how far she must go in order to stay
alive.
"Forget
everything you knew about TOMB RAIDER," said Darrell
Gallagher. "This is an origins story that creates
Lara Croft and takes her on a character defining
journey like no other."
