Crystal Dynamics are inviting fans local to the studio to play test the upcoming Tomb Raider. Announcing the invitation via Twitter, Global Brand Director Karl Stewart invites prospective gamers to email for further information. Usual conditions including NDA apply and applicants must be local to the Bay area.

The latest Tomb Raider adventure departs from traditional Lara Croft titles and ventures into a more mature realm. While the premise will still focus on exploration and adventure, Crystal Dynamics are billing the ninth Tomb Raider game as an M-rated action survival experience.

Further details on the story arc and associated media are expected Spring 2011.
