Chris Barrie, the British actor who played Lara Croft's fussing butler Hillary in Lara Croft Tomb Raider and The Cradle of Life says he believes he won't be asked to reprise the role in a third motion picture based on the best-selling video-game, according to an interview with the Belfast Telegraph.

"I would be very interested in reprising the role for it, but I don't think I will be asked as it's a new franchise - I'm not sure who's doing it and who the film company and everything is, but I don't think it's going to be with the old gang." He added: "But that was great fun, a couple of films, and I was a relatively small cog in the big machine, but it was great experience."

A third Tomb Raider motion picture has been widely reported in the press and was most recently discussed by film producer Dan Lin. "We're rebooting Lara Croft as well.", says Dan Lin when quizzed on future movie sequels. "Really excited - it's a great origin story that we're going to tell. A very character-oriented I would say more realistic than the past Lara Croft movies."
