TOBY GARD WRAPS ON SECRET PROJECT

There is some speculation on whether Toby Gard will continue to provide input on future Tomb Raider episodes following an update to his online CV. A pair of eagle eyes over on Tomb Raider Forums noticed the former Lara Croft creator now appears to be canvassing for employment.

When quizzed about Crystal Dynamics during an email exchange with a member of Tomb Raider Forums, Toby writes: "I can't really talk about Crystal Dynamics, though. I can only say that I've got nothing to do with Tomb Raider development anymore but I'm sure Crystal will do fine without me."

The creative services of Toby Gard were secured by Eidos in April 2007 when he acted as Lead Designer on Tomb Raider Underworld. His online CV states that as of September 2009 work on "an unannounced project" with Crystal Dynamics has now concluded.
