launch.com reports today that Nelly Furtado will begin a series of high-profile television appearances to promote her upcoming album which includes a track with Missy Elliot from Elektra's Tomb Raider movie soundtrack.

First, the Canadian singer-songwriter will appear on Monday's (May 7) episode of the WB sci-fi drama Roswell, performing her hit single, "I'm Like A Bird." Then, on June 14 she will join Missy Elliott on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to perform Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On." A remix version of the song is to be featured on the Tomb Raider soundtrack, due from Elektra Entertainment June 5.

Nelly Furtado, who will also perform with Moby on their Area One Fesitval Tour, joins Fatboy Slim, the Chemical Brothers and Irish rock group U2 who earlier this week released their Elevation Tomb Raider mix live on the Internet.
