SCi ENTERTAINMENT REBRANDS TO EIDOS

SCi Entertainment Group have announced it will change its name to Eidos plc with effect from 3 December 2008. The Company's trading (ticker) symbol will also change from SEG to EID on the same date. SCi Entertainment Group is the holding company of Eidos Interactive, creator of some of the world's leading video-game properties.

Eidos plc consists of several development studios including Crystal Dynamics, Io Interactive, Beautiful Game Studios, Eidos Game Studios and Eidos Montreal as well as sales and distribution offices in Europe and the US. The Group has a valuable portfolio of intellectual property including: Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex, Championship Manager, Carmageddon and Just Cause.

Also worth noting in the press is that both Ubisoft and Electronic Arts have expressed an interest in acquiring Eidos. Joining the leading contenders is Warner Bros., whom already hold a considerable stake in the publisher. Eidos closed at 19.00 end of trading with a market capital of GB50.08M
