The Guardian and Games Radar have respectively published two new previews of Tomb Raider Underworld, with each article accompanied by several new screenshots of British Aristocrat Lara Croft in action. Both are positive accounts on Lara's forthcoming adventure which is scheduled to debut across Europe on November 21, 2008.

According to the Guardian: "Tomb Raider Underworld is the first iteration of the series that has been specifically designed for next-generation consoles, so the first thing you notice is that it looks stunning. The storyline is established by an intriguing cut-scene in which Croft Manor is set on fire, and then you're straight into what is essentially a tutorial mini-level. In it, you must extract Lara from her flaming home.

"Tomb Raider Underworld is deeply impressive: it's Tomb Raider with its strengths emphasised and the annoying aspects removed or neutralised."

Games Radar summarises with: "It's an epic experience, and you get to explore ancient long-forgotten ruins filled with the sort of things that only a lot of people with a lot of time on their hands could construct, and make amazing things happen."
