According to unconfirmed reports in this weekends Sunday Times, Land Rover may be preparing a baby Range Rover which could be modelled on the custom all-action Defender which will debut across the silver screen when Paramount releases it's $100m blockbuster Tomb Raider.

Land Rover will also develop a bigger, more luxurious model later this year to compete with BMW's X5 and the Mercedes M-class. Although no official confirmation has been made, Land Rover has confirmed it's currently working on a lifestyle version of it's Defender model. Tomb Raider star Angelina Jolie will sport the new Land Rover Defender, customised with on-board satellite navigation and life support system, when the movie opens across the U.S. June 15th. Also featuring on the vehicle co-star cast list are a series of Land Rover Discoveries led by Lara's adversary Powell, who will himself helm a Range Rover.
