Online video-game magazine 1UP.com has short-listed Tomb Raider Anniversary as Best Adventure Game of 2007 alongside a slew of other successful titles including Happy Potter and The Legend Of Zelda. Voting is open to the gaming public now through Dec. 31, 2007.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a realisation of the original 1996 Lara Croft adventure from Core Design. The Tomb Raider series is still one of the best-selling videogame franchises of all time with over 32 million copies sold and two major feature films released, starring Angelina Jolie.

The 1UP Awards were created to empower the true game critics - the gamers themselves - to use their own experiences and opinions to determine the best PC and console games of the year.

Gamers will be able to vote for their favourite titles, selected by 1UP Network's esteemed group of editors, in 13 categories. Award winners will be announced at a special ceremony on February 20, 2008.
