Eidos Interactive has released a brand new series of screenshots showcasing Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Anniversary on the Sony Playstation Portable. The publisher is expected to confirm a release date for Sony PSP and Nintendo Wii super-soon. Tomb Raider Anniversary is already available on Windows PC and Playstation2.

Tomb Raider Anniversary is a realisation of the original 1996 Lara Croft adventure from Core Design. Eidos has also announced plans for a special episodic version of Tomb Raider Anniversary for the Xbox 360 video-game console from Microsoft.

The Tomb Raider series is still one of the best selling videogame franchises of all time with over 32 million copies sold and two major feature films released, starring Angelina Jolie.
