"We’ve worked with Morpheme on a number of successful games already, so we know how well we work together," said Simon Protheroe, New Media and IT Director at Eidos. "It’s great to have Matt and his team on board in a deal which fully complements our existing development resources."

Morpheme is a BAFTA and Develop award winning developer of mobile and casual PC games, having already successfully developed a number of titles for Eidos New Media including; Hitman on mobile phone and Prism: Light the Way on mobile phone and PC download.

The acquisition of the Morpheme business follows the recent acquisitions of mobile development and content providers specialist Rockpool Games and online distribution specialist, Bluefish Media.
